Dr. Veena Ramesh D.M.D. graduated from Boston University’s Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program in 2009 where she was placed on the Dean’s List for achieving academic excellence. Following this, she completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. Following her residency, she moved to Fairfield County in Connecticut where she practiced as a general dentist for four years.
She decided to further her education which brought her to the New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry, where she completed her Advanced Education Program in Endodontics. The rigorous two-year training enhanced her passion for the field. She has extensive knowledge in all aspects of non-surgical and microsurgical endodontics and embraces the use of current advancements and technology.
During her time at NYU, Dr. Veena Ramesh D.M.D. actively participated in research on Regenerative Endodontics and was awarded for her presentation at the annual American Association of Endodontists meeting (2016). Before her education and work experience in the United States, she received her bachelor’s degree in dental surgery in India.
Above all, Dr. Ramesh believes that patient comfort and satisfaction are of paramount importance. It is because of this that she is committed to providing exceptional, endodontic care as a part of the Scarsdale Endo team. Additionally, she is an affiliate of the American Association of Endodontics and the American Dental Association. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and loves to dance, travel, and cook.
